At home with RF and wireless

RF Logic was founded in 1992 to design RF test instruments, and that experience has stayed with us for 34 years.

It's often why clients come to us. Plenty of design houses can drop in a wireless module, but fewer are comfortable with what happens between the chip and the antenna, or with why a design that works on the bench can struggle in the field. We are.

When Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or Zigbee aren't the right fit, we design custom radio interfaces that are optimised for range, latency, power or reliability.

Standard wireless, done properly

Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, cellular and GNSS, integrated with the RF care that makes the difference between a module that works on paper and a product that works in the field.

Multi-channel and synthesised radio

UHF systems with PLL-synthesised channels and diversity reception, for wireless audio, conference and telemetry products.

Antennas and RF layout

Antenna selection and matching, and RF-aware PCB layout, so range and reliability are designed in from the start.

Interference and immunity

Products that keep working in crowded radio environments, including microphones that are immune to mobile phone interference.

Approval-ready designs

Experience of radio regulatory approval worldwide, so a custom radio is a practical option rather than a risk.

From idea to production line

    Concept

    We work through your requirements with you and bring in ideas that have worked in other sectors.

    Design

    Electronics, firmware and mechanical design developed together, so the parts fit first time.

  3. 03

    Prototype

    Fine-pitch SMD prototypes built by specialist local partners, with in-house rework, modification and test.

  4. 04

    Production

    A complete manufacturing data pack. Build with your manufacturer or one of our UK partners, from one-offs to 100k units a year.

    Support

    Ongoing technical support during production, plus final test or test solutions for contract manufacturers.
