Our story

RF Logic Limited was formed in 1992 to design, develop and manufacture test instruments for the radio communications industry. That work was a success, and on the strength of it we began designing and manufacturing products for other businesses.

Since then we’ve developed many products for clients in the audio, RF, industrial and defence industries, and earned a strong reputation for designing and manufacturing electronic products. We cover the whole journey, from initial concept planning through to manufacture and technical support.

What we believe in

• Comfortable with RF. Our roots are in RF test instruments, so radio and wireless design is familiar ground for us, not something to avoid.
• Design for manufacture. A design isn’t finished until it can be built reliably and economically.
• Elegant, maintainable engineering. Compact hardware, sound mechanical design and well-written firmware that is easy to extend.
• Fresh thinking. We bring ideas that work in one sector to products in another.

Facilities and partners

Our workshop in Farnham, Surrey, is set up for the hands-on side of product development: SMT rework, prototype modification, test and fault-finding. When a project needs it, we also build small manufacturing runs in-house to support early development.

For the most advanced assembly work, we use excellent local specialist partners with the latest equipment. For production, we work closely with trusted manufacturing partners and manage the process for you, so your product is built in the right facility for its volumes, with our engineers involved throughout. We also handle component sourcing for prototypes and production.
